Plants and flowers

We often order plants and flowers to show appreciation and affection. They make wonderful gifts on important holidays like Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. In addition, they can be given any time of the year just to say, "I'm thinking of you."

However, plants and flowers also can be purchased as gifts to ourselves. They liven up a room and can cheer us up. In particular, if you have just moved into a new space, then you should purchase plants and flowers to add to your decor.

Plants and flowers do require some maintenance and upkeep. If you do not have a green thumb, purchase fertilizer spikes or plant food to help your plants survive. Also, make sure your flowers get enough light so that they do not wilt.
